The pastel-ish shades were chosen because they gave me the ‘cute’ mental image associated with smol. The blue and pink are pale pastel colors that are often on things/characters called ‘smol’. The green is to faintly resemble beans, relating to the origin of the slang “smol” being used in “smol bean.”

Smolgender is an aesthetigender defined as "a person whose gender is intrinsically tied to a sense of smolness (not to be confused with ‘smallness’), regardless of their actual physical height."1

it’s smol and cute and twee;
all those stupid “smol bean” memes
are appropriating me.
