Saturngender is a sciencegender defined as "a gender that feels like it orbits around you, you never feel it fully. However, it’s still there and you feel that it’s still important to you even if you don’t understand it fully. This is meant to be reminiscent of Saturn and its rings, which are a big part of its appearance."1 

History of the term

Saturngender was coined on or before September 9, 2015 by unknown. The flag was posted on that date by Pride-Flags on Deviantart.2

and their head’s all battered
and has stars circling about.

MOGAI tumblr’s knocked me silly
and compromised my coherence;
my gender orbits around me
and is a part of my appearance
