Mythologender is a subtype of Religiogender. Mythologender encompasses all MOGAI genders that are influenced by mythology. These multi-purpouse, bespoke genders are perfect for Renaissance festivals, nature retreats, or tripping balls on peyote in your friend Bo’s basement.

History of the term

Mythologender was coined by MOGAI-watch as an organization tool to categorize all mythology-based MOGAI genders. The flag was created on October 6, 2019 by tumblr user mogai-moth at the request of anonymous. They define it as "gender categories for genders connected to mythological creatures/people/places," but do not credit MOGAI-Watch, not that MOGAI-Watch is all that fussed about it.1
