Ostosgender is an Aesthetigender defined as "a soothing gender that you remember clearly and calmly. A gender that feels distant and far away, as if it were a childhood memory."1
History of the term
Ostosgender is a word-for word "reclaimation" of the term evocagender, which was coined by troll tumblr blog mo-guys on February 26, 2019.2 It was "reclaimed" by tumblr user mogaiheaven on March 8, 2019. The flag, a replica of the original term's flag, was created at the same time.3
