Genderclipping is an Audiogender defined as "not a gender in of itself, but a means to describe yourself when your feelings about gender are so intense or “loud” that you are having trouble making sense of them. Based on the sound phenomena of “clipping”, where a sound signal is distorted (sometimes until it can’t be recognized) because it’s too intense for what it’s being routed through."1
