Fluktuaz is a fancy way of saying genderfluid/polygender defined as "an umbrella term that describes a fluid relationship with gender expression and/or attachment/connection to a given set of alignments. Fluktuaz individuals have a static gender identity, meaning that they are always the same gender or genders. Fluktuaz individuals can have a fluid relationship with a variety of concepts in gender, such as but not limited to: masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity, xeninity, genderlessness, abinarity, autonomous gender, genderfuckery, etc. Fluktuaz flox [sic] can have a relationship with one, some, many or all of the concepts previously mentioned without necessarily being that gender. Fluktuaz individual can have varying relationships with genders they do not identify as, but this does not have to be the case.
Fluktuaz individuals can be of any gender or sex assignment. Fluktuaz, itself, is not a gender. Rather, it describes a fluid gender expression and/or connection to a gender; it is completely unrelated to one’s gender itself.1"

Wait, isn’t this the same as Iactogender?

"Not at all. However, it is based upon it. The term Fluktuaz was inspired by the term Iactogender (coined by g-e-n-d-e-r-f-u-c-k). Iactogender was defined as: “A more specific form of genderfluid that, rather than fluctuating between genders, you fluctuate between your connection to femininity, masculinity, and androgyny.” Fluktuaz differs from Iactogender in that it is a broader term. Fluktuaz encompasses any experience where one’s attachment to gender expression, specifically, is fluid. Fluktuaz can encompass alignments besides masculinity, femininity and androgyny. Like Iactogender, Fluktuaz falls under the Genderfluid Umbrella.2"
