Botanigender is a naturogender defined as "a gender that used to be something specific, but now many other things have gotten in and grown around it. You could weed it and get back to what it used to be (you dont known what that was anymore), but its actually nice how it is now. Better to be left and watched to see what flowers grow"1
History of the term
Botanigender was coined on September 13, 2019 by tumblr user diamourloving. The flag was created at the same time.2
