History of the term

Anxiegender was coined on or before October 7, 2014 by anonymous via MOGAI-Archive.2 The flag was created on or before June 24, 2016 by pride-flags-for-us and posted by Pride-Flags on Deviantart.3

On or around March 18, 2014, following the deletion of MOGAI-Archive and the url being taken over by a pseudo-hacker, an anonymous message was sent to the blog from the person who coined anxiegender, expressing regret for having created it.4
